Three Network down in Ireland as customers unable to access internet and mobile data
Bad news for Three customers as internet connection and coverage across the country has been going through the motions since Sunday afternoon. Customers aren’t pleased as connection has been coming and going from about 3pm and there is no clear timeframe for when it will return.
The issue is affecting customers across the country and customers are not one bit happy.
Some customers are still able to send and receive calls and text messages, while others have complained they can make calls but are unable to hear. Mobile data and internet connection has been down completely for everyone – talk about bad timing on a Sunday afternoon. How will the online world know about our boozy brunch if we can’t post stories!
Three addressed the issue and replied to a number of customers on social media saying that they were “aware some customers are experiencing difficulty with loss of service today”.
They added that they are doing their best and “working to get this fixed as a priority”.
However, when a customer asked what time the service would be up and running by again, the network said there was “no timeframe at the moment but rest assured, we’re on the job and working to get full service back as soon as we can”.
Taking to twitter, they wrote:
“We are aware that some customers are currently having issues accessing data and voice services. We are working to resolve this ASAP and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
Thankfully, Three have now fixed the issue, releasing a statement saying
“We have resolved the issue that was causing some customers to experience service disruption today. Mobile traffic is returning to normalised levels. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
