Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 July 2026

These terms govern your use of Ask Diaz, a service operated by Sevenoways Innovations (“we”, “us”). By using the site or creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What Ask Diaz does

Ask Diaz helps you stay safe online. You can forward a suspicious message and get a quick assessment (Safe, Suspicious, or Dangerous), check whether an email appears in known data breaches, and — on a paid plan — get unlimited checks, breach monitoring and support.

Important: advice, not a guarantee

Our assessments are guidance to help you decide — they are not a guarantee. Scammers change tactics constantly. Ask Diaz may occasionally rate a real scam as safe, or a genuine message as suspicious. You are responsible for your own decisions and actions. Never treat a “Safe” result as a promise, and when money or personal details are involved, always verify directly with the organisation using their official app or phone number.

Ask Diaz does not recover lost money, remove scams from the internet, or act on your behalf with banks, couriers, or other companies.

Your account

  • You must give an accurate email address and keep your password safe.
  • You're responsible for activity under your account.
  • Don't share your login, and tell us if you suspect misuse.
  • You must be 16 or older to create an account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to break the law, or to submit content you have no right to share.
  • Abuse, overload, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service or its rate limits.
  • Resell or misrepresent the service as your own.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Plans, billing & cancellation

  • Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. Charges appear as “Ask Diaz” on your statement.
  • Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period. You can cancel any time from your account's billing settings; your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Prices may change; we'll give reasonable notice before a change affects you.
  • Except where required by law (including EU consumer rights), payments are non-refundable. If something has gone wrong, contact us — we're reasonable.

Free plan & limits

The free plan includes a limited number of checks per month. Fair-use and rate limits apply to all plans to keep the service running well for everyone.

Availability

We aim to keep Ask Diaz running reliably but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, pause, or withdraw features.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ask Diaz and Sevenoways Innovations are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service — including losses from scams the service did not catch. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory consumer rights.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the “last updated” date, and for significant changes we'll let you know.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
